End of Year 2

 

WOW! I cannot believe the year has gone already.

I just wanted to say to all the parents and children it has been a pleasure teaching them this year, I have had a fantastic time with this Year 2 class and within this school.

 

I am extremely proud of each and every one of you, your determination and effort has always been there, and the progress you have all made, not just academically, but socially, emotionally, you have all grow with confidence, and have really come together as a team. It has been a delight to see.

 

As you are aware I am moving to the South School, but will always be interested in there further development and progress that they make.

My email will remain the same if you ever want to email me.

Trip to Aqua Land

 

Year 2 had a great time at Aqua Land yesterday, the children were very brave going on some of the slides, braver than I was, not sure if you could hear my screams on the big green one.

 

Thank you to all the parents, aunties, uncles and grandparents that helped out.

 

Infants Show

Thank you for everyone who came to watch the Infants show, they were all superstars.

 

 

Well done Year 2, what a group of fantastic actors and singers I have in my class this year.

 

Summer homework

 

I have made a Literacy and Maths homework booklets for the class, this is not compulsory for them to complete it.

I just wanted to give you the option if you were not sure what they could do over the holidays. 

Aqua land

 

Just a reminder, it is the trip to Aqua Land on Thursday, if your child is coming on the bus with us please ensure they are here promptly so we can leave straight after the register, if you are meeting us there please meet us outside the park at 10am to gain entrance.

Water proof sun lotion is advisable, please put on before your child arrives, and if you want to bring it in to re apply during the day that is fine.

It´s the day of the Infants show, I hope you can all make it to see the children´s fantastic work they have put into learning their lines and their acting.

Police Mascot

Policia Local

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

are in need of a mascot.

 

The school has been given the task of designing a mascot for them.

 

Two from each class will be picked to be sent into the final competition to have their design made into their new mascot.

 

Designs need to be in by next Friday.
